Claire Widdows

I have been working in Financial Services since 1998 and moved into a technical role in 2007, when I became a paraplanner. I have been working with Royston Fox Associates since 2007 and officially joined the team as a Technical Adviser in January 2024. I am Level 4 Diploma qualified and have a lot of knowledge regarding the differing elements of financial planning, including pension transfers, investments, and inheritance tax planning. I have seen considerable legislation changes and feel it is extremely important to stay up to date with these.

In my role as Technical Adviser, I work alongside the Advisers, collaborating with the entire team, to establish how we can best meet a client’s needs and objectives, collating the required information, taking into consideration the client’s existing arrangements alongside their personal situation and current legislation in place.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, following the New York Mets baseball team, reading and music.
